Universal Declaration of Human Rights, United Nations 1948
"Education indicated within Declaration Adopted and proclaimed by General Assembly resolution 217A (III) of 10 December 1948 On December 10, 1948, the General Assembly of the United Nations adopted and pro- claimed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights the full text of which appears in the following pages. Following this historic act the Assembly called upon all Member countries to publicize the text of the Declaration and “to cause it to be disseminated, displayed, read and expounded principally in schools and other educational institutions, without distinction based on the political status of countries or territories."

Education International welcomes the United Nations General Assembly’s consensus adoption of a resolution proclaiming 24 January as International Day of Education, in celebration of the role of education for peace and development.
As representatives of the world education community were gathered in Brussels, Belgium, for the Global Education Meeting, convened by UNESCO and aiming especially to take stock of progress towards the global education targets and commitments in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the United Nations (UN) General Assembly voiced on 3 December a strong message recognising the foundational role of education in peace and development.
The adoption of the resolution 73/25 “International Day of Education”, co-authored by Nigeria and 58 other Member States, supported inclusive, equitable and quality education for all. By doing so, the international community reiterated that education plays a key role in building sustainable and resilient societies and contributes to the achievement of all other sustainable development goals. In support of the realisation of SDG 4, the resolution calls on member states, organisations of the UN system, and civil society, non-governmental organisations, academic institutions, the private sector, individuals and other relevant stakeholders to observe the International Day of Education.
Introducing the resolution to the General Assembly, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Nigeria to the UN H.E. Tijjani Muhammad Bande highlighted that the proclamation of 24 January as the International Day of Education clearly shows that “education is not only a human right, but a path for sustainable development”.

Our Mission - Idea as Proposal to Governments, Private Sector & Individuals:

"As Rendez - Vous of Minds for Betterment of Future in Peace & understanding"

Who we are in simple terms:

Since the establishment of U.N. in 1948 until present thousands of youth have participated in the training programmes, those students now are part of their society whether they are in private business, governments sectors, particular offices promoting / advocating some humanitarian work or a discipline for their society, they are in various field of occupation - they are part of alumni group of UN. As part of our strategy we wish to promote new interns to global community while keeping close relations also to former interns with those who have benefited from exposure to international dialogue & diplomacy at its best in New York, Geneva, Vienna, European Union & international court of justice. Many of world leaders & officials at international scene including UN were at one-point interns or young trainees or students eager to learn to be diplomates of tomorrow.

We essentially wish to advocate & promote international peaceful co-existence & development through support of these programmes within international diplomatic world, by inclusion of member-state of ICAFE, stakeholders such as partners, trustees & staff members. Keeping in mind new MDG’s of 2015 that 193 countries have signed. Supporting these would be tools such as: sports, academia, Arts & Sciences. (Fund Education for peaceful tomorrow)

27 April 2016 United Nations – Deeply concerned by the high human cost and suffering caused by armed conflicts, and recognizing the significant number of simultaneous security and humanitarian crises that the world currently faces, the United Nations General Assembly and the Security Council today concurrently adopted resolutions on the Organization’s peace-building architecture, providing renewed momentum for the focus within the UN system on ‘sustaining peace.’

"Ground-breaking" resolutions on peace-building have been adopted by the UN in an effort to streamline its approach to tackling conflict, a senior UN official has said.

The resolutions aim to reduce the high human cost from so many simultaneous security and humanitarian crises.

The organization is looking beyond post-conflict peacebuilding to embrace the concept of "sustaining peace," which encompasses all stages of a conflict.

Speaking to Jocelyne Sambira, Assistant Secretary-General Oscar Fernandez-Taranco began by explaining why this new architecture for peace is historic. Duration: 4'09''
